I purchased the rug weaving frame and finished my first rug. I LOVE it! Now on to my second! Next I would love to learn how to crochet a rag rug. I want my house filled with them. :)

Being a crocheter with over 35 years of experience, I still enjoy trying projects thatare new to me. I saw an ad to order fabric bundles from Rags to Rugs which included the directions, was intrigued, and placed my order. I loved, loved, loved the color combination when I received my order and opened the box and immediately started my rug. I couldn't believe how well written the pattern was and how perfect my rug turned out! I love it so much, it's featured in my "header" on my Facebook page. Thank you Lora and associates, I'm now considering joining your Bundle of the Month club!

I so love making your rugs I am having a party! My first attempt at teaching, but I have the perfect DVD as an aide. I am making rugs for Christmas presents. I would love to win the fabric to send to my sister who is on a fixed income but would love to make a rag rug. I tell you it is catching! Sandra McDevitt

Just wanted to say how really pleased I am to have found your ad in the Country Sampler. I'm having a tough decision here - which fabric colours, which size, do I try to do it myself or have you make it - sigh, decisions, decisions! You do beautiful work, your selection seems endless and all the beautiful rugs that customers have sent photos of just convinces me more that your site is the one I've been looking for. Thank you.

Love the fabric bundles. I use them to make hot pads for my Corian cabinets. Would LOVE a red, white and blue fabric bundle. I have "seasonal" hot pads, lol.

Wow! What a difference the dvd made for me. That and the cheat sheet made my this so much quicker and easier. I love it. I have made about 4 rugs before using the dvd, and 2 with. I just can't stop! These rugs are the best, easiest, and greatest gifts to give to yourself or anyone else. If anyone is thinking about it, but just can't quite decide, let me tell you the price is so worth it! You will wonder what took you so long to make this purchase. Thank you, Lora!

I have to admit.. I'm addicted. I have made three rugs so far and plan to make a million more! You're DVD was most informative, very easy to follow and helped to teach me to make them just right. I have since shared it with my mom who is also loving the rug making. We have been discussing the idea of selling them on consignment in a couple of our local "country/craft" shops. You can only make so many for your self and for gifts and then you have to find a way to share them so you can keep making more! Thank you so much for sending me a second video when the first was not working. And thank you too, for sharing all your knowledge of rug making. It has truly opened up a new world to me!

I have made ten of your rugs. Love, love, love them. I nearly panic when I finish one and don't have another kit waiting. I am wanting to try making rag rugs using some type of webbing for a base. Plan to use my left over fabric by cutting it into 6 inch strips and using a latch hook to attach it. I don't know what I did before I found your website. Again, I love, love, love it.

I really love making rag rugs. I have worked as a Graphic Designer for the past 30 years for may clients around the country. I am retired from Graphic Design work unless a friend or a favorite past client ask for a favor. I do all crafts (including all needlework, painting, knitting, crochet, and unfortunately many more as there is not enough time to do them all. I have also taught many of these crafts. I learned to make rag rugs starting with toothbrush rugs about 20 years ago in Tacoma, WA visiting a friend of my sister. You have the best fabric and supplies that I have found since I started making rugs. I really like your website.

Hi Lora - I wanted to take a moment to thank you for including the instructional DVD in my order. I had great aspirations of tackling this on my own, and started on Tuesday evening (without watching the DVD)... I was having a little trouble with it but figured it was just because I needed to get used to the fabric instead of yarn... last night, I popped the DVD in to take a look and WOW - what a great tool! Your 'cheat sheet' is amazing and is making the whole process so much more enjoyable by not having to count stitches! It's awesome! Plus, I was able to see exactly how you were doing your stitches, and saw I needed to make an adjustment to mine... so, I ripped out what I had done Tuesday, and tackled it again - this time with MUCH better results! I'm so excited to work on this and love seeing it come together. I am a busy working mom of two little ones, and am a quilter... but I can see where this could quickly become one of my new favorite things to do! I love how your technique is 'distraction proof', as my time is limited and often interrupted! Thanks again for including the DVD and great instructions. I look forward to sharing my finished rug pictures when I have it completed, and look forward to ordering from you again!
